Hi, I’m Andreea and I’m your typical millennial – introvert, minimalist, vegan, always online and on a journey to create and live a life by my own design. I am a Yoga teacher and a life coach.
I moved to the UK 7 years ago for my software engineering job, but in 2015 I found myself unhappy and unhealthy. I was already a runner, but not doing anything else in terms of fitness. I started exploring more options, I learned about nutrition and eventually lost one third of my bodyweight. I became an inspiration for my family and friends and decided to share everything I know with the world. I started a fitness blog which evolved in time in so much more.
Already in love with fitness, 5 years ago, I went to my first Yoga class and to be honest, I hated it. Everyone seemed to know what they’re doing, except for me. They were gracefully flowing and using the props that I didn’t even know existed. I wanted to quit then and there.
But instead, when I went home, I started watching online videos for beginners and decided to give it one more chance – at first from the comfort of my own home, where no one could see how sloppy I was. I practised, studied and eventually got certified to teach.
Fast forward to today, I love it and it changed the way I see the world. And I promised myself that no student of mine would feel the frustration I felt on that first day. So here’s what I want you to know: I’ve been there. And every time we’re sharing a practice, I’ll do my best to make you feel welcome, no matter how experienced you are.
I teach Vinyasa and Hatha styles, I’m certified in Chakra Therapeutics and I love to add a bit of personality or a theme to my classes.
